Dava comments: Oh, the fun I had with this one! The barn and farm animals are Fisher Price Little People. My husband built the terrain to display some of his Lord of the Rings miniatures. Add a few ponies, and you get pure comedy!

The high-speed getaway chase (scooter? Barbie car? hot air balloon? other?). There should be a stunt involving a police vehicle, pedestrians in danger (maybe the classic baby in a pram scenario), cardboard boxes, a news helicopter (another chance to use a hot air balloon? Sparkleworks on the scene), and the thieves trying to dig the precious stone out of their victim's butt!"

Dava comments: I was so proud to pull this one off. Whew! Taking a cue from Spoosh's Ponyville, we made Sparkleworks the news anchor.

Dava comments: Minty has had fans from Day One! And who needs a better reason to burn things? Minty's bonfire contains everything from candy, clocks and date planners.

From Kat: "A pony (you pick who) creates a monster in their laboratory... A monster made out of hats!! :D~"

Dava comments: When I can't think of something for a character to say, they usually end up screaming, "Cheetos!" LOL! I'm sure it's the first word most monsters learn. ~_^ Star Wars fans may recognize my monster as a Taun-Taun with hats taped all over him. The laboratory is a Muppets play set.

Dava comments: Oh, the accessories I got to use in this one! No cleptomaniac can resist the allure of cosmetics. I used Tea Leaf in this one since "tea leaf" is Cockney slang for "thief."

Dava comments: This was actually the last photo I took, because I was stumped for ideas! What sort of amazing discovery would Minty make? I finally went with the old standby, socks, and used an odd pair of Sponge Bob socks that my mother-in-law had given me.

Dava comments: 20,000 Downloads Under the Sea? This is another one of my favorites, created using a Captain Nemo play set and a Barbie laptop computer.

Dava comments: I think this is pretty typical of everyone's prom. Catty high school girls, spiked punch and other shenanigans. Kimono even has a tiny beer can!

Dava comments: Another favorite! I decided a Ponyville Surreal Life show would have to be set at the new castle, where a decidedly well-loved Majesty would, ironically, not feel at home. The scene took place in the kitchen, since that seems to be where the best fights take place.
