Fun With Dava's Accessories 1
The original FWDA started 21 July 2003. Although modest in size, it yielded some of my favorite shots. The quality of these pictures is pretty low, because at the time I had a very old digital camera. Its resolution was less than 1 megapixel!
From Lady Minty: "I want to see some aspect of NuMinty's great sock-hunting escapades... the public needs to know what NuMinty's capable of."
Dava comments: Curse my bad camera! Minty's box contained a blood-smeared mess of cotton and a small zombie hand. Someone lost more than just their sock puppet!
From Lady Northstar: "How about Star Swirl strutting her stuff on stage, like a techno fashion show. Complete with lights, curtain in the background, a DJ... And of course one very angry wanna be model who didn't get picked for this particular job."
Dava comments: I just couldn't rig those lights! The platforms, believe or not, are displays used to vend cigarette lighters.
From Spoosh: "How about something that fits with the theme: 'If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would have never believed it.'"
Dava comments: This is, to this day, one of my absolute favorite shots. One of these days, I need to recreate it using my new camera!
From Marzipan: "I'd like to see Starswirl or Sunny Daze lovin' and leavin' a male 'G1' pony/ponies."
Dava comments: Well, at least he got to keep his clothes and barbells. The odd glow through the castle door is one of my aquariums.
